Hey guys... jw but 80% percent of the time the brakes on my ranger continuously suck air when you depress the pedal, then other times it works fine. i still have brakes when it does it, i just have to press the pedal harder than normal. any idea whats wrong???

I've got the same thing with my f150. The brake booster is faulty, allowing an escape of vacuum whenever you press the brake pedal.

That is weird... Are you sure the bleeder valves on the calipers and brake cylinders are closed and functioning correctly?

sounds like a booster, if it was bleeders or bad lines, you would push brake fluid out as you depress the pedal which would cause a loss in brake pressure and the pedal would hit the floor without resistance.
