Did they ever stick the 4.2 in the 4x4 F-150s???

I believe that was a 2WD thing only.

Im new to this kind of truck, but if memory serves correct there was at least one ad on Craigs list for a $X$ six cylinder.. the price was way more than what i wanted to spend so i never went to see it or drive it tho

I guess I should add some. That is my previous truck. I believe it was a 2002 and it had the 4.2 in it. Regret getting rid of it but enjoy my current truck. Wish I could have them both.

yepper they do and r a fine daily driver if find a manual trans one. But dont haul more than what will fit in bed. The MPG isn't much better either.

They did stick a 4.2 in the 4x4 models. I bought a 99 4x4 with a 4.2 in it. Swapped it with a 351 about a month later though.
