Oh Goody!

I've got to rewire the 3 car trailer at work. We've recently changed the hydraulic/electric unit in the rear, then I find that the trailer brakes work, but the brakes dont lock when you pull the emergency breakaway switch. I pulled the trailer plug out, and I find patched, spliced wires. Oh boy.........outside work too!

As long as you avoid giving it the smoke test you should be fine.

I forgot about the "smoke test". Back in college we decided that all electronic components run on smoke. If you realease the smoke...they do not work any more. :nono:

Doesn't that sound fun...I hate electrical work, and I hate it twice as bad on trailers.

Is it bad enough that you can justify tearing everything out and starting over? That way at least you can know it'll all work right when you're through...
