Will an EMP from a nuclear explosion shut down the electrical on a dent side ?

Strange question, but here goes: It would be entirely possible. Chrysler had a recall a while back because rf interference would cause their engines to shut off (airfields, military bases radar). The fix was a "harder" crankshaft position sensor.
