cant pass 1200 rpms

help! I'm wrenchin on a 94 ranger with a 4.0 six. runs great up to 1200 rpm then it starts buckin like a bull. I changed the fuel filter. the t.p.s and the mass air flow sensor to no avail. I'm running on broke an cant keep throwin money at this thing! any input would be helpful.

Hook up your timing light to see if its advancing in higher rpm ranges.

Try unplugging the Mass Airflow sensor and driving it, if it drives fine replace the sensor.
