clutch disk

can any one tell me what the thickness is for a new ford brand 11 inch clutch disk for a 91 f-250 five speed 7.3 diesel 4x4. i put in a new napa brand disk, press plate, and throw out bearing and it is slipping. i think disk isn't the proper thickness. thanks, david

CLUTCH SPECIFICATIONS Description Specification
Clutch Disc Lining Depth 0.3mm (0.012 Inch) Minimum
Clutch Disc Runout 0.7mm (0.0276 Inch) Maximum



I only have info back to 95 but if i'd have to guess it'd be the same.

Did you notice any adjustment on the new pressure plate? Some ford aplications need to be adjusted before installing, also check for any adjustment in the linkage.
