I don't think the respective areas are the best place for some things. How many years did they use the same trans? The old pinto C3 is the same as the C5 (a lot interchanges with the C4 if you know how), which became the A4LD, which became the 4R55E, which became the 5R55E. They are all related.

I would imagine the old C4 and C6 are related to the AOD. In fact I know the C4 is. The newer electronic ones are probably related as well.

The few who have working knowledge of automatic transmissions (myself included) are not going to search every forum looking to help people with issues.


Then again...we have too many forums now. Catch 22... LOL
