2008 F250 6.4 diesel engine noise

I just bought this 2008 F250 with a thumping sound at idle.
Very noticable over the light sound of tappets.
When cold the thump is not there.
Any thoughts?

What weight oil ya running in it? Sounds to me it's too light of an oil..
