I'll be camping in the hampton beach area in July. Gonna take my son over to watch some drag racing one night.

My mother's family has a house in Rye Beach (one town north of Hampton)... I'm not real big on beaches, but Hampton is a real nice place to spend some time.

*Depending on what you like, it may be worth checking out the Hampton Casino Ballroom's schedule for the time you're there- I saw Ron White there last summer, and there have been a number of shows I've noticed over the years I'd have gone to if I was a little closer.

Thanks for the info i'll keep that in mind. Ron White is a funny guy i'd like to see him sometime, waiting for him to come to one of the casino's down here again. I only live a few min from both.

He was hilarious. My uncle went to the box office the day tickets went on sale, bought the best seats he could, for $55 each, maybe 6 rows back. My buddy heard about the show from him, went on eBay, and bought a pair of tickets for $25 each. Offered one to me after he'd bought 'em.

Got inside, turns out he'd bought the two center seats in the front freakin' row of the place. I could literally read Ron's watch from where I was sitting.

yeah hampton beach is a really nice place EXCEPT when its a holiday..............better off walking from 10 miles away. everybody and thier uncle drives to the beach tne and there is absolutely no where to park.... the ballroom has some really good shows like johndeere said.
