I have a 1985 Ford f700 4x4 that has the rockwell axles under it. They have the air-over-hydraulic brakes on them. I also have a 1995 ford f800 that has air brakes on it with a rockwell rearend.
My question is: Is it possible to switch the 4x4 rearend/frontend from the 85 to the 95 and keep the full air brakes? I would love to be able to convert the 95 to 4x4. Before anybody goes off subject here.....yes i know that i will have to have driveshafts made, hang the devrced transfer case, ect. ect.... And yes, i NEED it to be 4x4, and yes, i know i could prob buy a used truck cheaper...Heres the thing tho, it i a wrecker that already has the 12v cummins in it, alison auto tran, wrecker bed on it, ect....i want to keep this truck! thanks in advance...Thomas
