Hello and thanks for providing this informative site.
I have an Edelbrock #1405 (650 CFM, manual choke) carb that I'd like to install on my '68 F250 (428 PI engine, Edelbrock Performer manifold, C6 trans). The car is stored out of state at the moment so I can't do a test fit. My question is if a Ford throttle/kickdown adapter is required. The Edelbrock website lists one for "Ford, 1968 and up with a cable throttle control", however my truck has a rod linkage to the carb. If the adapter is needed, I'll order it.
Thanks in advance
