Right tool for the job.

While watching a certain show about Trucks!(I wont mention the name) They were putting on a lift and had to remove the torsion bars. They showed you how to modify and use a C clamp. I'm thinking cool I have one of those that the end came off already so I'm good to go. Well, as I'm loosing the bolt that keeps tension on the bar the C clamp lets loose and BANG! A little nerve racking as you are laying there inches away. The pic below shows what the tension did to the C clamp. If your going to do this go buy the tool made to assist you in doing this job. Money well spent.

Yeah funny thing is Stacey David did one and said "DON'T" use a C-clamp as you can rent them from your local auto parts store for free.

Yep, repeat was just on last weekend too!

I didn't see that one. "Funny thing" meaning it was the show he used to host.

Keyword, USED to host. :)
