Some 2008 Escape And Mariner Vehicles May Exhibit An Amber Abs Brake Warning Light. For Code B1342, Internal Module Fault, Replacement Of The Electronic Control Unit (ecu) May Be Necessary After All Other System Faults Have Been Corrected And The Code B1342 Remains. Important: Do Not Remove The Ecu From Another Vehicle For Testing Purposes Or To Expedite The Repair. The Production Ecu And It's Companion Hcu Are Calibrated As An Assembly. A Replacement Ecu Is Available As A Separate Service Part And Should Be Used In Combination With The Original Hcu With No Compatibility Problems.
