Surging 12 volts

When my truck is at idle everything is fine. When I begin to accelerate, the blower, the headlights, the dash lights, and the interior lights all surge like its loosing some of the voltage and getting it back again and then loosing the voltage and getting it back again. The RPM of the engine is increasing due to me accelerating, it appears that the surging eventually stops until the truck comes back to idle and then acceleration again. Any ideas?

Voltage regulator(I'm thinking). Internal to the Alternator, I believe, on your truck.
Go to an Auto Zone or Advance or NAPA...they have diagnostic meters they will bring into the parking lot and test it for free. Or if you have an automotive multi-meter check the output.. with a buddy revving it for you.

I would check your alternator.
