Randy, were you disclosing info that all 2wd B2's had dummy t-cases, or you noticed it on that particular one? But for $450 I'd drive that thing til it burned to the ground.
I was just saying most of the BII's that were 2wd have a dummy transfer case. This is because the punk'n is offset on the axle in them and they just add a dummy transfer case so they all can use the same axle.
It is just a coupler for a better definition, No front output for a front driveshaft.
It attaches to the transmission and the rear driveshaft attaches to it moving it over a little like a regular transfer case does, this allows the same axle to be used in both the 4wd and 2wd models.
welp ya learn something everyday. Once i get a little money im thinkin about buying a beater bronco II for summer. I figure ill cut the top off like on a big bronco, take the doors off, and drive the hell outta it
