trying to find some decent used cylinder heads. im done to 1 or 2...

i havent talked to this guy yet. had to email him to get his number. he replied like 5 minutes after i emailed him but i had went to bed. dam. but im gonna call him probably bout 9 am today. and hope we can meet up to swap cash for heads.... that is if they are any good.

this guy his story didnt match up with the ad. and they were supposedly sitting outside for a while i think im gonna pass.... but just have them in thoughts just in case...




so what should i be looking for? whats the easiest way to tell if the valve seals are junk and etc....

I dont know how to tell if anything on the heads are bad, but if the valve seals are bad, they are easy to replace, I think they are pretty cheap too.

Buying used heads like that, i would have them taken to a machine shop and checked over, valve job, new seats put in. etc etc....
There already off, good grinding can help the skinny pedal area as well.
