Teach me about 5.4s

A buddy of mine just got a 98 f150 with a 5.4 and was wonderin if its got the same problem as the V10 did with blowin out plugs? Its got 140000 on the clock and runs great. Also is this one Iron heads and block or aluminum?

It does have the plug blowing problems.

98's will have the same problem, only key is to not change the spark plug until the motor has completely cooled. I usually pull it in the garage the night before a change and let it sit there to chill for 12 hours.

Aluminum heads, cast block.

Alright Ill tell him to do that. I could really care less if it blows or not cause it aint my stuff breakin down.
