At some point, a Edelbrock 1406 was added to the '85. The electric choke was not hooked up when I picked it up. My 1406 tech sheet I downloaded directed me to hook the hot wire up to a switched 12V source. Did that and still no actuation. Any choke diagnostic tips? Do the electric chokes fail often?
