My f150 4x4 has a aod it is jerking at low speeds and it slips. Can i change it to a C6 should i stay with the aod

C6 is alot better transmission but theres no overdrive.
Will the C6 bolt up and the linkage match the aod

Not sure on the linkage but ya need to find one with your same bell housin pattern. Id get the linkage off the C6 to be safe.

The shifter linkage will work, but the c-6 takes a kickdown linkage instead of the cable that the aod uses. The aod is also longer than the c-6, so you will need to make driveshaft changes.
