brakes are broke

ok so i had to get new calipers rotors pads new lines everything

now about a moth later they dont seem to be working very good there very mushy and when you double pump them they tighten up
the other day someonepulled in front of me and the brakes wont even lock up

what is wrong? is this an easy fix? how do i fix it?

Checked your brake fluid lately? If it's low, could be a wheel cylinder leak. If not, I'd say your MC/Booster is going bad.

Few years back, I replaced the brake lines in my Ranger.

Guess I didn't quite get it right when I ran the hard line (two pre-flared pieces joined with a union) down the frame-rail), as it had a slight drip. After a month or so, the pedal started feeling mushy, and I saw that the MC reservoir was low.

Kept it topped up, and it was ok (not good, just ok) until I was able to get it fixed right.


Check your fluid, check for leaks...if all that's good, bleed 'em out.

Make sure the whee bearings in front are ok. If they're loose, it'll feel just like that!
