Turn signal problem

I have a 86 F350 dump truck. Just bought it -pig in a poke -
When I engage the left turn signal the following lights flash:
Left & right front turn signals, left & right front side turn signals, marker lights on top of cab, side marker lights on dump bed, rear turns signals both right and left.
When I engage the right turn signal - only the right turn signals engage.

Any ideas fellas

Thanks

That sounds like some body did a Frankenstein on the wiring to get the lights to work.
Start fallowing wires from the switch and see if some knuckle head spiced all the wiring together..
I've seen it more then once on these older trucks..

I have another symptom
When the headlights are turned on the left turn signal indicator on the dash comes on and when the headlights are on none of the turn signals will flash. The turn signal lights front, back, and sides remain on and solid

Andrew you have a wiring problem of a running light feeding power to a TS circuit.

You need to examine every bulb socket for corrosion

Most problems like this are because of the TS switch .

Take it out and check the contacts for corrosion.
