Well I was the one trying to put the rectangle peg in the square hole.
You know I want to call you an *** hole but I realize that it's self implied in your post. I would however like to thank you for your input and help.

August /september is the first month of the next year's production

You have a 78

IN 1978 ONLY CUSTOM TRIM HAD round HEADLIGHTS

In 1978 Ranger trim and above had RECTANGULAR

In 1979 all trim lines came with Rectangular headlghts

In grade school we learned a square was made up of 4 equal (same Length) sides

Also in grade school we learned that a rectangle had 2 sides that were equal in length and 2 other sides that were equal

NO SQUARE headlights in the 70's.

Pretty cool. I don't think I would pay that much for it though.

Except I would rather have a manual tranny. And the price is a little too much.

Love this truck. Personally, it has too much lift on it for me and I'm more a fan of smaller wheels (same size tires). Wouldn't really be a vehicle I could casuallytool around town in. Fuel injected....also, love the 77 grill, which, I know I'm biased towards; last year of that style. I saw a youtube video of a guy swapping the 78 grill with a 77....a lot of work.
