power steering fluid & coolant resevoir Q's

My PSF is dark brown... is that normal???

I have a leak in my resevoir for my engine coolant... it's cracked a little. I have hot glued but didn't last very long. What else can I use seal it up???

some pwr steering fluid is more brown colored, while others are clear color. I honestly wouldnt worry about it unless it is making noises or leaking.

For the res tank, I would simply get one out of a junkyard or buy a new one.
for the price, it would be better than trying to repair a leaking one.
