odor of antifreeze through air conditioner vent

Please Help Me, I Have A 1998 F-150. I Can Smell Antifreeze Through The Air Conditioning Vents. The Radiator Is Full, And I Have Found No Leaks. Could This Be The Heater Coil Or What??// Please Help!!!

Yep, thats a sure sign of a heater core leaking. You're probably going to get some fogging on your windshield shortly.

and leaking on the floor. if you have a pet that rides....DO NOt let it in the cab.

sounds like a heater core to me. whatever you do, do not get a ford heater core. i have seen the same truck get 6 heater cores all under warranty. we finnaly put a copper/brass core from napa or autozone to solve the issue.

Sounds like heater core to me. It's a tiny little radiator in the heater ducting that draws a small ammount of hot coolant off the engine, then the fan blows air through it to put heat in the cab. If the core gets a hole in it, it's just like having a hole in the radiator.

These guys pegged it. I have had them leak in two different vehicles in years past.

Depending on the vehicle...the hard part is getting them out. :( You might need to get a repair manual and read the specific instructions for your year/model.
