Nice old truck 68 Camper Special, and it's either a Ranger or Ranger XLT to boot, still nice, but I prefer Dents myself.

Thanks Jim and you are correct it's a Ranger XLT, first year of factory disk up front IIRC.

And it has plenty of dents at the moment

Did you know that chevrolet had a similar box on the side of the bed. It was on the drivers side though.
I'm not sure who had the idea first.

I don't think they switched to discs up front until '74?

Yep, it's a 3spd w/od out of an '81 Econoline. Buddy in high school had one behind a stout 390 and it pulled high teens.
