I tend to stick with castrol,

But I do find it intersting that the "quote on quote'" top after market senthetic oils are not API certified. IE Red line, Royal Purple, and Amsoil.
Well as far as Redline goes, the reason they are not API approved, is because they are Ester Based. From Redlines standpoint there is no reason to test them. They are marketed strictly for racing. Amsoil and Royal Purple do have products that are API approved. Amsoil here http://eolcs.api.org/DisplayLicenseInfo.asp?LicenseNo=0995

Royal Purple here http://eolcs.api.org/DisplayLicenseInfo.asp?LicenseNo=0777

You notice how they never test brands like Royal Purple or Torqco..
I'll stick to my Rp :)

This puzzles me Tex, why would you use a oil with the word LONG in it? I would understand if it was Royal Purple Short Bed Rider, but not Royal Purple Longrider.
