1833 - 2009 F-150 - Trailer Brake Controller (tbc) Connector Location Behind The Dash Board
Some 2009 F-150 May Have Difficulty Finding Connector C2142 For The Installation Of An Aftermarket Trailer Brake Controller. This Connector Is Attached To The Backside Of The Bin/coin Tray At The Lower Right Of The Steering Column In The Instrument Panel. Reference The Wiring Diagram In Cell 151-1, Page 17 For Location In Vehicle. Vehicles With Factory Trailer Tow Package Option, Evident By A Factory Installed 4 And 7 Pin Trailer Tow Connector, Will Be Equipped With C2142. In Addition, Installation Of The Factory Integrated Trailer Brake Controller Can Only Be Successful On Vehicles With C2142 Present From The Factory As Well. Follow Installation And Programmable Parameters Instruction In Workshop Manual Section 206-10.
