brake lights

hello everyone hope all is well i am having problem with my brake lights i replaced the stoplight switch the bulbs and i have power at the switch 11.9 volts but the lights will not work can anybody help

How about fuses?

I take it you don't have power at the bulbs? If you do you may have a bad ground.

11.9 is pretty low as well, not that it would affect lamp operation....but that is quite discharged.

Do u have tails or brakes?

When you push the brakes, does the power go through the switch?

The wire harness just behind the bumper under the truck there is a wire that ALWAYS corrodes, or breaks.
