There's only two Lincolns I'd NEVER consider owning. A Mark with air suspension (owned a Mark III though- loved it) and a FWD Continental.

I'd say the air suspension is the only 'big' problem with the VIII, aside from a blend door engineering issue that presents itself on some of the cars.

Cleaned up the engine bay today, just need to wait on a few new parts to get in and it should be looking nice. New coolant crossover and machined plug, alternator cover, and a couple of little things here and there.

The valve covers really popped out. Normally that's one of the tougher things to detail with the stamped sheet metal, getting in the small spots.
