2001 front wheel bearing

So my sisters supercrew has a wheel bearing out on the left front. What is involved in changing this? Done lots of wheel bearings, just don't know if it's individual bearings or a unit hub?

Give me a quick rundown guys

I believe its a hub/bearing assembly.

Indeed it was.

Not a terrible job. Unbolt the caliper assembly and set it aside. Take the axle nut off. Take off the three bolts holding the hub unit. The hub now falls onto your toes.

Unhook the abs wire that you almost just broke when the hub fell off onto your toes. The plug is clipped to the inner fender well.

Installation is reverse of removal. Minus the dropping, preferably. Took about two hours, much of which elapsed while searching for tools and driving to the parts store.

Haha, hope your toes are doing well. I read the Ford Tech instructions and they mentioned steel toe. Read closer next time.

I looked in the workshop manual and there was nothing about dropping on toes and cussing wildly.
