Great looking truck Jager! I had flash backs when i saw the interior. It is a mirror image of mine when i picked it up although yours is in much better shape than mine was.

I want it just for the fact that people will get out of the way or they'll get moved.. Jeez man you could wreck a train with it and drive away.

When i had my 02 xterra we ran with BFG all terrains and had great mileage out of them with even wear across the complete tire. But that was almost ten years ago so i'm not sure it would be the same.

If you do that be sure to put some steel wool in there and run said tube to about a 1/4in from the bottom so the wool will trap the oil mist from the blow by but let the pressure out the top of the can. or just buy an after market catch can for it and go from there.

Mustangs fuel tank is all metal not plastic. with that being said i would look at ignition things that got heat soaked from sitting in traffic and at the gas station. It will happen like that when things are on the brink of going bad.

Also make sure to use distilled water to help prolong the life of the aluminum.

Unfortunately this is the problem with off brand planes, Parts are never around when you need them. I'm sure you have but maybe contacting the Manufacturer and see what they can do for you.

Also as far as a trainer plane to learn on that plane is a no no. the standard way is to start with a three channel high wing plane like a supercub and go from there either by modding it and adding ailerons to the wing or purchase another plane with them and learn with it.

Most of the trucks like yours if I'm not mistaken have to have the exhaust run down the right side of the truck and then cross back over. While searching for a kit for my 72 the only thing i could find was those kits and it stated that the left side was to cross over to the right side and then...

Imagine what the damage could've been it you weren't watching and as said before or paying attention to the gauges. I say good job catching it!

Why not have a piece of lexan or plexi glass cut to put in its place just to get you by until you can find a suitable replacement.

I located the line feeding the dash lights and soldered into that with a connector so that nothing had to be cut if I needed to take them out for some reason.Sorry but I managed to forget to take pictures of the wiring for it.

I wired mine into the dash lights so they would come on and dim or brighten up with the dash lights.
