I tried a few years ago but the clips I had (the cheap replacements from Oriellys that were leftovers from my 96 f250) the head of the clip was to big to fit the panel properly. I'm sure some brands will fit better than others tho.

Any exhaust shop can make it. If you can't get the truck to a shop (this sounds ghetto but it works!) use pvc pipe and elbows to make a y-pipe that routes where u need it and take that into an exhaust shop so they have a pattern.

Another thing to consider though, off the showroom floor, the fit and finish wasn't that great anyways, so u will need to decide if u want a day one resto, a better than factory resto or a really nice driver resto.

Picked up a very solid 79 parts truck...done the body swap now just gotta swap clutch parts, do wiring, and rebuild brakes and it's ready to roll!

The rear end should be a 9". Most Mid-late 70s trucks had 3.00 and numerically lower gears which would really help.
