Which manufacturer is better?
I personally have never had an issue with Michelin tires... unless it's for a truck. Toyo has been my "go to" brand for truck tires in the last few years.- polarbear

Best years, worst years in Ford Trucks to buy
+1. We've had three Gen 9 F150's and a Bronco, with total miles well exceeding 600,000 of service. These trucks are sturdy, mechanically simple, and relatively common in the rust-free Pacific Northwest. Thinking of buying, any opinions on $ or....
Looks like a nice truck. Can't help much on pricing- paid (IMO) too much for a '95 Bronco last year. As mentioned before, we forget out here that rust-free examples of those trucks aren't rolling around just about everywhere. Most of them out here are still at work that I see.re: transmission...- polarbear

E4OD issues
Throttle position Sensor would be then first thing I'd check. Inexpensive, and could mimic a lot of those issues. Also wondering if the lockup torque converter isn't unlocking?- polarbear
