Ok, have a question here: I know that a dab of sealer is used where the intake corners meet the block, but I also used to smear some around the water jackets on both sides of the intake gasket before putting the intake on. Was that additional sealer unnecessary?

What's the torque spec for the head bolt torque, and the tightening sequence? Only Haynes manual I have is for 1980, and it does not show what I need

Thanks!! I do believe I have a 3 on the tree, with 2 shift levers at the steering column (see inside the white circle). Plus the fact it has power steering, but manual brakes is interesting, and non A/C too. I think I scored pretty good!
