Odd turn signal issue

I own a 2005 F350 6.0L diesel dually. My turn signals function normally until I step on the brake pedal. Once the brake is applied the indicator arrow goes bright/dim, bright/dim instead of the normal full on/full off flash. The problem is not in the turn signal multi function switch (tried a known good one), the flasher relay has been replaced, and all the signal bulbs were replaced with OEM specified bulbs.

Any ideas?

Check your trailer plug/wiring, might be shorting there.

Thank you, did that, checked, cleaned and reassembled. No result

Double check your fuses. When i got my truck i found that the po replaced many with the wrong sizes. Had to go through with the om and replace almost half with the correct sizes.

Have you looked to see how the tail lights behave when this is happening? Could potentially be a bad brake switch.
