    four barrel Cleveland heads

A few years ago I bought a pair of closed chamber 4V heads for $200, and they were bare(no valves or anything). Since the ones your talking about are in good shape, it sounds like a good deal to me. You can plan for an open chamber head with the right pistons. If you still have 8:1, and no plans...

    What shall I do!!

I just glanced at the last date. I thought I saw 11 of 2010, not 1 of 2010.

    What shall I do!!

I'm also for the unsung heros. That's why I say 400. The rpm range makes it a monster for a pickup. Saves money if you already have it. I hear there's a place in the states that sells the Aussie 2V heads for $350 pair. Good bang for the buck. My other favorite is a 300, even though i'm swapping...

Ford doesn't make Cummings nor Cummins. Never did. Cummins is a diesel engine manufacturer. Ford uses Cummins in the F650 and above. Ford's tractor brand, New Holland made diesels for the 86-93 Med Duty trucks. They were a 6.6 or a 7.8.

Mainly because the guys with 300s swipe the head from a 240 for the compression gift. Same attributes apply to both the 240 and 300. The 240 can wind up a little higher though.

    Best Motor

That's great mpg. I get 11-12mpg with my 67. It's the same mpg as when it was all original with a 1bbl carb. You may get a wee bit better mpg by getting an AOD, or M5R2, and either will have overdrive. Swapping over to a 240 head can squeak a little more from it. Other than that, you will have...

Are we talking the body side moulding? I have a full set on mine (body parts are from a 72 F250) that I wanted to get rid of, but not sure if anyone would want it.

My nephew pulled out a 390 for a 300, and really built the krap out of it. Six in a row makes it go! A Vee aint for me! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xgYd2u79NU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5x0pH6CRPM

I got a 300 in my 67. I just ordered a cam for it Friday. Then it'll have all the traditional hot rod add ons. As you may find out by building one, they need a better head. Forced induction kinda helps there.

1967 F100 Truck: single year parts

The one on my 67 has the clips for the visors on it. I can take a picture of it. My poor truck has 72 F250 body panels (hood, fenders, doors, and bed)on it, so I lost the lever action door locks.

Billet Aluminum Cylinder Heads for 4.9 I6's

Is this the head with no coolant passages?

Billet Aluminum Cylinder Heads for 4.9 I6's

I saw that part. Just wondering what it was comparable to. Going by a closed chamber with 2.18 intake valves, it sounds like some pretty healthy ports. Makes me think of it easily hitting 7k(when properly equipped).
