It is impressive how these older trucks hold up to abuse like that. Also are great for being able to swap out parts like that instead of like cars that are much harder to fix such things. I would have doubts a newer truck would have made it...

I've never heard that body style called that before! Good one. I also refer to it as the forge. Besides a 65 3/4- ford, this is the most heavy duty Ford I've ever owned.
