Those Dents always get the job done, and save the day. Sadly they don't build em like that any more. Cool vid with a Sweeet looking Dent side, looked a Ranger, or Ranger XLT.

They sure don't. When I was in high school, my 69 Falcon jumped a newer car and everyone thought it was the other way around.

I just jumped a young kids car yesterday. I always carry cables.

I keep my battery jumper in my wifey's ecpi cause she's always leaving something on that kills the battery; dvd player, garmin, lights the kids were playing with; something! :headbang:

She knows how to use it if she gets out to the car and it's dead.

^^^oh also, I bought her for Christmas, the new jumper cables that plug from 12v socket to 12v socket....or a cigarette lighter adapter if you don't have an extra socket.

Kinda cool.

that is cool Ken, prevents any chance of hooking up the cables wrong.

That's right, good point.....hate to be sexist, but it would be something a woman would more likely do....although, no sure if you fellas remember me hooking up my cables wrong to my battery and frying my alternator on my dent a few years back.

What does happen if jumpers are hooked up wrong?

the shop teacher told us that the battery could explode! didn't get into much detail except that the plates inside get damaged and the battery could crack and leak acid out.

Dang.....wonder if that would do anything to the alternator or electrical stuff in the vehicles themselves.....Duncan might know.
