Need Help!!!

I've recently bought a used 2004 f-350 diesel 6.0. I'm having problems after problems. I had trouble retarting after prolong use, usually around mid afternoon. I thought it was a fuel pump and a fuel filter problem and fixed it, however, I still had problems restarting in the afternoon. I finally took it took it to the dealer and they told me it was the oil pressure pump and few other minor things. After $ 3500.00 hit, starting problems been fixed but now the engine sound (knocking noise) is unusually loud. The dealer guys telling me that #2 and #4 injectors are bad. Another $ 1500.00.
Any comments or advices? Please Help...........

A knocking noise is very possible if you have a couple of slobbering injectors. They need to come out soon too, because overfueling like that can lead to catastrophic damage.

Most generally, there will be dtcs. Thats probably where the dealer got the #2 and #4 numbers.

I also have a problem with the truck steering wheel shaking at around 60 to 70 mph even after having a wheel alignment and new tires. Have any suggestions? Thanks

If the shaking isn't violent, I'd say balance on the tires is off.

i agree. unbalanced tires are annoying. have u done the blue spring, and if u dont like the loud noise, 5w-40 synthetic oil cuts down on noise i little bit, but is good for injectors!

Vibration can be caused by:

1) Tires/wheels out of balance.

2) aligment of truck

3) Front stabilizer steering/shock (causes vibration to be felt in steering wheel). Mine is bad/leaking and is being replaced. Rancho or Bilstein offers ones for your trucks with Bilstein's being the best!!!

4) Brake rotors out of balance and causing vibration (happens even when not braking). This may be way you feel vibration yet tires have been balanced?
