It feels good to play with my truck!

Good morning all, Well, yesterday I spent over 8 quality hours with Burt. I started by getting under him and Simple Greening the hell out of his under carriage, after the steering leak , which had been going on for quite some time left a greasy MESS on the undercarriage. Then I did the same thing to the engine, though it was really only a bit dusty. then I waxed his rear diff cover and chrome rims. The most fun thing I did was take out his windshield washer jets, which had been clogged for years and only dribbled. I soaked them in white vinegar for about 6 hours, blew them out and VIOLA! I now have perfectly working washers again! I 'm so please that such a simple thing (that took so long!) made me so happy! After that I cleaned out the cab, shampooed the carpets and just puttered all day with him... Then we took a little drive for fun.

Sorry, I can't help it...you have me saying my Aunts name: Viola

The word you want is a french word: Voila !
I get it honestly though as we are always talking about Canada having 2 official languages so French gets talked about all the time

At least you very very close.. others say: Walla

Glad you have some quality time with your truck !:)

OOPS! :headbang: Of course I know you are correct Dennis! Actually, that is one word I DO know how to spell, and one I get irritated about when others don't spell it correctly. That was completely a dyslectic fingers moment!:headbang:

Cheers!

I wrote a Christmas card to my parents in 1st grade and told them how 'buttfull' our tree was. The card still gets displayed to this day...and I still get laughed at. I thought it was in the Geneva Convention somewhere that parents couldn't laugh at their stupid children.

The angel on the top probably thought the tree was a buttfull, too. :wasntme:

Man....I can totally relate....some of my best quality time (outside of being with family of course), and I mean alone quality time is when I'm hanging with my rig, cleaning, fixing, driving, etc.

I'm glad Burt is all good to go!

That right there is my idea of romance.

Do you know the story about how the angel came to be atop a Christmas tree?
