^^^Ga's economy must be recovering because I don't know many folks with coin like that to drop on toys.

Apparently so! I don't know where it is coming from, but everybody lately seems to think that their vintage trucks are gold plated.

Like I said before, they're hoping to get that one person out there that just wants what they have and are willing to pay for it and if it doesn't sell, so what. They aren't really "sellers" or are in the sellers market. They're in the, "If it sells, then hot damn and if it doesn't, I still have my rig market".

My friend has a parts truck that has a nice set of chrome pedals in it. It's an old 4speed plow truck that he's had parked out in the woods for years. I thought it was very strange that someone would install chrome pedals in a plow rig. There aren't any signs of any aftermarket chrome anywhere else, we both thought they were factory installed.

Take some pictures that might help to figure it out.

I picked up a 1 owner 77 F-150 with them in it. No one else had even driven the truck ever. Asked the oldest of his kids about it, she was 15 when he bought it. She said it came home from the dealer with them. Parted the truck still have the pedals.

There is no such thing as factory installed chrome pedals, even as an option or a dealer installed accessory.

I can just picture FoMoCo offering TWENTY TWO different optional chrome brake pedals and SEVEN different optional chrome clutch pedals in addition to the black painted pedals on 1973/79 F100/350's.

Take a gander in the 1973/79 Ford Light Truck Parts Catalog, see how many 2455 (brake pedals), 7519 (clutch pedals) you can find that are chrome. Lotsa luck...

2455 & 7519 are the basic part numbers listed in the text.

He refused to list the price. That only tells me he wants to sell it on the phone or in person. High priced would be my guess. A fair price may be half of his appraisal cost in this economy.

One thing to remember, good northern trucks always command a higher premium. But I'm guessing you're right...still too high. And I hate it when people say 'RV cam'...that's a broad spectrum.

When is one of you going to come up here and buy my 77 SC ?
