Yeah I saw that too...but interiors can be done relatively easily. Almost burst my bubble again Buck...but you're right the interior definitely needs work.

I was just surprised is all. Usually when a truck looks that good outside, the inside matches just as well. And you are right, interiors are really the easy part. That truck wouldn't take much for the inside.

If I had that truck I would put a nice heavy duty front bumper on it and beef up those tow booms a bit and put good towin mirrors like my 76 has on it.

Yeah...I gotta agree...for an offroad extraction rig, I'd have to throw on a beefy front bumper with a winch, and I'd probably throw mirrors on like Red has.

Here's one that has had some extensive work done to it.It actually looks pretty good

I'm not sure how I feel about these trucks on newer chassis/drivetrain. On one hand, it's very cool......on the other, it just takes away the old school feature that we love about these trucks.

Nice truck though. I wouldn't give 28K for it though. Something with that extensive work put into it might be a big can of worms waiting to be opened.

I know how you should feel about it...like it's an abortion of a dent and whatever he mixed it with. I'll admit, very creative...but sheesh. I can only imagine what kinda gremlins are ready to pop out.

Perhaps we can recruit him to head up a Parts Interchange Forum ;)?

Looks like that auction is going pretty well...wonder what he actually wants for it...14,100 and the reserve still hasn't been met.

Any takers on how much longer it takes for 'everyone's favorite seller' to shoot this truck up to 10k then end the auction early?

He better do something quick...he's only got 53 hours left.

Wow...2 hours to go and only up to 5k...figure it's a 4k truck, but I can't believe HIS auction is only up to 5k.

Looks like this one could be a pretty good deal:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1979....c0.m245&_trkparms=72:317|65:12|39:1|240:1318

This looks like a really good truck too...and better yet no reserve. Engine bay, interior, and exterior look great, but the under side shows a little rust, and he says there isn't any...AAAAAAAAAND the fluid spots on the underside raise some concern:

HMMMMMMM...looks nice...but 'the most original' and 'never been touched' and 'I've customized several options' seems to contradict eachother:

Hey Matt...here's a good looking cheap 4x4 you coulda had in Montana...but instead you decided to go with a Ghey Mans Chevy:

Damn...too bad it's a 2by and he had to ghey it up with the weels, looks greeeeeeeeeat though:

OOOOOOOOOOO...now this truck has tons of potential to be reeeeeeeeal purdy:

He says the hood has only been partially primered due to wearing paint...however, the color difference tells me the entire hood has either been replaced or repainted. Not an 11k truck like he wants, but I think he could get 5-6k in the right market to the right buyer.

I've seen this truck listed several time over the last couple years, and it's a good looking truck:

Last time I saw it, opening bid was 11k and he wanted 25k for it. Last time it was listed, it had a pretty serious dent on the passenger side below the marker light on the bed. Looks like he tried to pop it out, but there's still visible damage. And last time, it was a 460 stroked to a 521, now it's up to a 543. I bet if he got that dent fixed up right he could get 10k for it. I'd take it for that...if I had the money, but it would need different paint, get rid of those flares and that visor on the windshield.
