Hey guys, I am going to be lifting my F350 with a 4" inch lift and putting 35 inch tires on, but I want to see some pictures of guys f350s lifted to help give me a clearer vision on what it will look like!

Thank you

Hmm, what are u running for gearing? Its cool it fits, but i like the look of a lifted truck with big tires, but that is highly economcial

I run 4.56's. Get's me about 10mpg city, 13 highway. I've run anywhere from 33x12.5's to 35x14.5's to the current 37x12.5's with this set up. All it took was some 1.5-2" spacers and longer bolts, and extending the front bumper out. I woulda loved a lift too, but I tow a considerable amount with that rig, and still wanted bigger tires, so this seemed like the cheapest/easiest route for me. Anyways, I figured I'd just post a pic to show that 37's could be accomplished with ZERO lift.

Simple...I never liked diesels. I didn't like the way they sounded, didn't like the extra weight, how long it takes to recoup the costs for paying extra for the diesel engine and now fuel too, etc. etc....and probably the biggest reason is because my dad custom ordered this one. So there's alot of sentimental value that goes with that truck too. I'll never forget the day we went in to order it, the day we saw it by chance being unloaded at the dealership and then May 13, 1996 when we picked it up.

Yeah they're nice. I've had her pegged a few times before, and each time my dad was beside me in Red and said she was reading 93-95 mph. But then again, I don't exactly have this truck for it's top speed...haha.

36x12.5x16.5 No Lift, no spacers, trimmed the inner bumper lip instead. I wouldnt lift it, caus its going to look goofy, 35-37's look good on our trucks just the way they sit. It will be too high and youll have to get like 44's or something.

4.10 gears, get about 10mpg also, speed, humm it goes to like 80-85 on stock speedo, and i was past it with overdrive off, so pleanty of speed left.

My thoughts exactly....

Gonna need atleast 40's to make it look right.

I dunno, I dont exactly agree with that. I think our trucks look great with a 285 or 305 with a stock suspension, but i think they look like a shoe without a lift to give it some sort of agility, i just don't like a stuffed fender look to much, I like some gap, dont get me wrong, ur guy's trucks look great.

Thanks man...I appreciate it. She's been a good girl for a looooooooong time. Didn't really have problems with her til about 215,000 miles, but nothing a tranny rebuild and new engine couldn't fix...haha.

Yep she sure does, at about 210K the tranny started giving me probelms and then at about 220K the engine had a busted wrist pin. So we swapped in a '91 460 so we could build the original engine, and now she's got about 225K on the clock.

Man you guys have some awesome rigs!
Makes me wish I lived some place I could justify owning a truck like these..

You live in Texas, where big badazz trucks reside...how much more justification do you need? HAHAHA.

if you want low end grunt...go 460. If you want high revving...go 351W. The 351 will be a much easier swap for you anyways...should almost be a direct bolt up.

Or you could buy a 408 stroker already built... It will be spendy, but you get the ease of the 351 with some of the tq from the 460...

The 460 was made to be a stump puller, you have to do allot of work on a 460 to make it a racing engine.
But it depends on what you want out of your engine do you want it to be a street fighter or a work horse..
