speedo and brake pedal

So my 2004 F-250 speedo seems to be acting up...Whenever I'm stopped at a light, if I have the turn signal on, the speedo will jump along with the signal. Or, if I have my foot on the brake pedal, it will also cause the speedo needle to raise - take my foot off and the needle goes back down. Anyone have any insight?

Thanks!

Sounds like a grounding problem somewhere in the dash

First, look at the back of the fuse panel for water intrusion. The windshields in these are known to leak. The body modual, or gem is right there too. There are about 4 grounds in that area.
