Printed circuits are alot of fun.I have 3 for the 7th gens just in case.
Do the 6th gens have the little silver Voltage Regulator on them too?

Yes it is for the gauges. The power for the lights comes from the headlight switch.

i need to know the exact configuration of yours
It probably has to be from a 73-74 as they changed in mid 75 then changed again in 76 I went through this with the LED lighting tech with hipoparts. The number is important Did you take an pen eraser to the white corrosion on it ? ![]()

No I didn't do the eraser thing Dennis because one of the copper strips is broken losing connection so I wanted to know if I could solder it. I will get the number later. I have to go take out the cluster.

as part of my job, we used Union Switch & Signal erasers but a guy could see where they half-assed-removed "Pink Pearl" off of each one. LOL :) In their instructions it was ok to remove the contacts' metal with what ever means necessary as long as the final cleaning was with a "Pink Pearl". So what I'm trying to say is... a pencil eraser works too. ;) (what-cha think Dennis? :) ---------------------- Yeah the number. This makes three of us that have extras but no-use shipping-one that ain't got the same number without a lot of pouring over it (electrically and physical shape) to see that it really will work. :/ Alvin in AZ |

I will try to get the number tomorrow. I spent quite a bit of time with the carb. today and it was too hot to mess with the dash.
