It's the biggest single storm I've seen since living up here.

Our big 36" Ariens moved all that snow....pretty amazing.

I have a 48" craftsman with duallys that doesn't throw as far as this one and bogs down with a lot of snow like this.

Dang 2 feet that amount starts to suck. We got a foot Friday and there were tons of wrecks. It came fast and hard the road crews couldn't keep up. Most of it has melted off here already.

2" cripples Portland.

31 right now, headed for the low teens medweek. Downside- when we get out of this super cold mode, it's always a messy event (snow, ice, etc).

38 here now. Calling for freezing rain tonight and tomorrow here. I'll take 2 feet of snow over freezing rain.

21*F here. Drove home tonight from a New Years GTG, 160 longggggg miles, icy roads, strong winds, drifting snow polishing the ice, harder than hell to see at times. It's a bad feeling when a wind gust is so strong that it starts to push your vehicle out of your icy lane of travel and correcting does nothing at all to help make things better........

The state does pretty good when we get Noreasters. Most of the state shuts down either for the day or they open late when everyone gets dug out and roads are clear.
