decal removal

I bought an old municipal vehicle that has the decals from the township on it... what do you guys recommend to remove the leftover glue?

Acetone works great for removing vinyl residue. Just make sure to wash it after you're done and throw some wax back on the paint.

xylene or rapidtac vinyl remover is what I use

^^^Hey Austin, what about also using something like a hairdryer to soften the glue?

Expect the paint underneath to be less faded then the other areas.

If the vinyl was still on there, it'd be a good tool for removal... but it's useless for removing just the glue left on the paint.

Ive never had glue left over when using 3M's eraser wheels. Might work on just glue idk ive only used them on decals.
