That's a perfect car for upgrades like you're doing - and looks awesome!
Much like my dad who says there hasn't been a mustang since 1970...

That's a very wise man, your dad!!

I have a 70 fastback here in pieces - belongs to my youngest son. I should put it back together and drive it. Title is in my name. He bought it when he was still in HS and a minor. Took it apart to make a drag car, but his dreams were bigger than his wallet......

I do like my '07 - very glad Ford did the retro styling similar to 69/70

The crud on the dentside isn't rust - just moss

When he bought the car, I bought a manual showing parts assembly : )

That's in pretty good shape just looking at the pics. Would make a good driver just putting it back together and leaving the looks as is... If you we closer I'd come help...

Back to where I was before the re-disassemble. Gotta find some collectors so I can mock up the down pipes before I drop it in.

It wouldn't take much to run again. The only rust is in the rear quarters. It came out of California 10 years ago so its pretty decent.

Thanks for the offer to help. I drove it a couple of times before he took it apart and it ran decent.

Have fun with the exhaust - those fox bodies at the shock towers can be a little tight with headers.

Going going going

Now I have an inny instead of an outie...

Can't use the Hookers, were supposed to be for a Fox Mustang but the driver's side drops right on the steering rag joint... Guess I'll be using the stockers until I can come up with the cash for a pair of equal length shorties or a pair of long tubes...

That's okay, the shorties don't do much for performance anyway. They sound better and smooth out the idle, but you're not missing much.
