Thanks, it seems like every project I get needs some serious sheetmetal work. I would have rather bought a complete bed but the shipping would have been crazy so I do what I have to. My goal is to have the truck done by the end or summer but I know that won't happen.

Looks like a time consuming but cool project...and it's amazing how much time gets chewed up!

I've long since given up on a schedule for mine and the way things are looking, paint might not happen this year.

I usually just go with the flow. Everytime I say something is going to be done at a certain time it doesn't work out for me. I hope to have the bed side on and start welding it up this week.

Those body lines look like they line up very well...is there any tapering to the box lines?

I made sure I cut the bed where there would be no modifying body lines nessesary. I am very happy the way it lines up considering the method I used to measure and mark (Tapemeasure and masking tape) the cuts.
