Vegas

We took the Shelby back home - to the Shelby American Heritage Center over the weekend. Awe-inspiring to see 24 lift stations busy making a variety of mods to Mustang platforms at the same time.

The museum was less than I hoped for, certainly different since they moved from the old Speedshop to the new facility (or so I've heard). Still impressive with a variety of Cobra's, Daytona's, GT40s, '65, '68 GT350s scattered around, as well as all the newer stuff.

Had to smile at the Dodge era 024 and Omni that Carroll modified when he wasn't working on Fords.

Wow, now there's a blast from the past. If a guy could stand the looks of the car along with Simca in it's DNA, then the GLH-S actually offered a whole lot of bang for the buck, not to mention that in the year it came out, it beat the Mustang GT, IROC-Z and damn near made a new Vette owner cry in a str8 line standoff. How embarrassing (for the other guys).
